Aircon not cold / weak cooling
The most common repair. Usually low refrigerant, a dirty evaporator coil, or a failing compressor. We measure gas pressure and inspect the coil before recommending a top-up, clean, or part.
Water leaking or dripping
Almost always a blocked drainage pipe or tray forcing condensation to overflow from the fascia. We flush the drain line and clear the blockage so water drains properly again.
Musty or sour smell
Mould and bacteria on the coil and drain tray. Light cases clear with a chemical wash; we diagnose first and recommend the right level of cleaning.
Noisy or rattling unit
Worn fan bearings, a loose blower wheel, or debris in the fan. We open the unit, identify the source, and quote the fix or part.
Aircon won’t turn on
No power, an unresponsive remote, or a blinking indicator light usually points to an electrical fault, a faulty sensor, or a PCB issue. We trace the fault and advise repair or replacement.
Unit keeps tripping the breaker
A short circuit, compressor fault, or capacitor problem. This needs proper electrical diagnosis — we test the system safely rather than guessing.
Ice or frost forming on the unit
Typically low refrigerant or restricted airflow from a clogged coil. We check pressure and airflow to find the root cause instead of just defrosting it.
Remote or error-code faults
Blinking lights and error codes signal sensor, fan, or board faults. We read the code, confirm the cause on-site, and tell you whether it is worth repairing.
